The Emporia State womens basketball team picked up their second win of the season Saturday rolling to a 79-51 win over Henderson State. The Lady Hornets held a 17-15 lead after the first quarter and led by 9 at halftime. Emporia State led 59-44 going to the 4th quarter and outscored Henderson State 20-7 in the final 10 minutes. 4 Lady Hornets scored in double figures led by Tre’Zure Jobe with 17 points. Faith Paramore added 15 points. Victoria Price and Sidney Tinner both scored 12 points.
The Emporia State women are now 2-0 to start the season. They play at Drury next Saturday.
