Six lucky residents and community organizations now have a chance to fill their shopping cart, and their pantry with as many groceries as they can grab in five minutes.
Saturday morning the Emporia Rotary Club drew the names of their six finalists for the annual Grocery Grab coming up next weekend. The finalists include:
*Jaree Martinez
*Rochelle Schmidt, who plans to donate winnings to the John and Frances Ice food pantry at Sacred Heart
*Carla Barr, who plans to donate winnings to SOS
*The Salvation Army of Emporia
*C4 Food Pantry
*Emporia Rescue Mission
The six finalists will convene at Goods Cash Saver this upcoming Saturday at 6:45 am where the winner will be drawn. The five contestants not chosen for the grab will receive a $50 gift certificate to Goods.
The winner will then have five minutes to grab as many groceries as they can with certain restrictions in place.
