The Emporia State men’s basketball team defeated Southwestern Oklahoma State 88-65 for their second win of the season Saturday.
Coach Craig Doty said they won the game with good defense.
Emporia State had 3 players score in double-figures led by Owen Long with 23 points. Alijah Comithier added 20 points and Mayoum Buom finished with 13 points. The Hornets are 2-0 to start the season. They are scheduled to host Rockhurst Wednesday night in their home opener.
