A trip to nationals will be on the line for the Emporia State cross-country teams Saturday. They will be competing in the Central Regional meet in Joplin.
For senior Hannah Showalter, it’s the final chance to earn a trip to nationals.
Junior Asher Moen will be one of the Hornets competing.
Assistant Coach Justin Hill wants both the men and women to finish strong.
The top three teams at the regional along with any individual in the top five and the top two individuals not on a qualifying team will automatically qualify for the national championships.
