Kansas State jumped out to an early lead and never trailed on the way to a 48-31 win over West Virginia Saturday.
The Wildcats scored on 6 of their first 7 possessions.
Quarterback Will Howard threw 2 touchdown passes and scored a rushing touchdown. He said scoring on the first possession was huge.
Deuce Vaughn and D.J. Giddens also scored rushing touchdowns.
Ben Sinnott and Malik Knowles caught the touchdown passes. The defense had a pick 6 and Ty Zentner kicked 2 field goals.
With the win, Kansas State is now 8-3 for the season and remains in 2nd place in the Big 12 standings.
The Wildcats host Kansas next Saturday in the final regular season game.
