The roads will be very busy this Thanksgiving season as many Kansas are getting ready to travel.
The American Automobile Association in Kansas has already done some projections so people on the road be safe during this holiday.
AAA Kansas Regional Public Affairs Manager Shawn Steward says they are projecting the third-highest travelers volume since AAA started tracking in 2000.
Tuesday and Wednesday are the busiest days to drive during the holiday, AAA suggests avoiding rush hours and also planning for Sunday which is the day most travelers choose to go back to their homes.
Stewards says that gas prices will be beneficial for travelers during this Thanksgiving season which also plays a part in the travel demand.
