The Emporia State women scored off the opening tip and never trailed on the way to an 80-64 win over Colorado – Colorado Springs Saturday.
Three players scored in double figures led by Faith Paramore with a game-high 20 points. Ehlaina Hartman added 14 points and Maary Lakes added 10 points.
The Lady Hornets held a 17-15 after the 1st quarter. They would lead 39-26 going to halftime. The biggest lead in the 2nd half was by 24 points.
Coach Toby Wynn said they accomplished what they set out to accomplish going into the weekend.
With the win, the Emporia State women are now 4-1. They will open MIAA play on December 3rd at Washburn.
