Kansas State suffered its first loss of the season Wednesday night. Butler outscored the Wildcats 76-64 in a Big 12/Big East battle.
Kansas States’ biggest lead was by 3 points in the first minute of play. They would trail by as many as 20 points in the 2nd half. Keyontae Johnson led the Wildcats scoring 20 points, Desi Sills added 17 points and Markquis Nowell finished with 13 points.
Kansas State returns to action Saturday when they host Wichita State.
