Lukas Hainline is fourth at 138 and Davian White is sixth at 165. The Spartans are preseason ranked ninth in Class 5A.
Coach Brook Medrano says the Spartans are ready to have a successful season.
Tungjaroenkul says the Spartans’ schedule sets them up for the postseason.
Even though Trujillo is ranked at 190, he’s adjusting to wrestling at 215 pounds.
The Spartans open up their season Saturday at Riley County. The Spartans’ first home competition is the Winter Classic on Dec. 17.
