Representatives of the Kansas Children’s Service League and local celebrities will all be donning their finest aprons for KCSL’s largest annual fundraiser Saturday morning.
The KCSL Red Stocking Breakfast will be taking place at Bruff’s Sports Bar and Grill beginning at 7:30 am. KCSL Program Development Manager Bev Long says all funds from the breakfast will go to help the agency “reach further into the community.”
She adds that in addition to raising money, the breakfast also raises awareness of child abuse and neglect and helps to begin an important community dialogue.
As always, breakfast will be served by local celebrities including government officials, business owners and media personalities. Tickets are still available for the breakfast and cost $12 in advance. You can purchase tickets at either Lyon County State Bank location or online at KCSL.org.
Tickets will also be available at the door the morning of for $15. Breakfast will be served until 10:30 am.
