High winds may well be responsible for at least one notable power outage in the KVOE listening area Friday morning.
Evergy says nearly 70 customers are offline in southeast Cottonwood Falls. The outage was first reported around 9:15 am. At this time, it’s unclear if the Chase County Family Health Center is affected. The outage is also close to the Chase County Sheriff’s Office and Jail but is not impacting those facilities.
