Both hearts and stomachs were full at this year’s Red Stocking Breakfast on Saturday.
The event took place at Bruff’s Sports Bar and Grill on as a means of fundraising for the Kansas Children’s Service League. The organization works to serve and support local families in need.
All ticket sales from the breakfast go to support the organization and ultimately those who need it.
Bev Long, KCSL’s program development manager, says that organizations like the Service League provide incredibly vital services.
Long also mentions their main local program, Healthy Families, and how the program creates support systems for people who may not have them.
Fundraising totals will be announced next week. For more information visit KCSL.org.
