The Emporia High wrestling teams were in action Saturday.
The Spartan boys won the Eudora Tournament of Champions while the Spartan girls finished eighth at the Great Bend Christmas Clash.
In Eudora, the Spartans defeated Eudora, 48-30, DeSoto, 45-35, Lansing, 48-27, Atchison 54-24 and Bishop Ward 72-0. Four Spartans went 5-0 on the day. Jackson Goodman and 113 pounds, Isaiah Morales at 126, Landon Wohletz, Christian Trujillo at 157, Davian White at 165 and Josiah Bradley at 285.
In Great Bend, Virginia Munoz finished third at 135 pounds. Kiana Flores-Delgado was third at 170.
Up next for the Spartans boys will be the Emporia Winter Classic on Saturday. The girls travel to Olathe West on Wednesday.
