Relief efforts are underway to help a Greenwood County family that lost all their possessions in a fire last week.
The fire at 528 200th Street, about 10 miles northwest of Eureka, happened this past Wednesday afternoon. The residents, Daniel Britain, Leann Eddings and their son, were not home at the time. More details about the fire are pending.
Residents are asked to donate several items:
*Women’s size XL shirts and jackets, size 16 jeans or large pants and size 8 shoes
*Men’s medium shirts and pants, size 30×32 jeans, large jackets and size 11.5-12 shoes
*Men’s size 3XL shirts, 42×30 pants and size 12 shoes
Financial donations are being accepted at the Eureka Herald office, Box 590 in Eureka, ZIP code 67045. Items can be taken to 822 East River, Suite 100, in Eureka.
