The Emporia High boys swim and dive team finished in second place at the Shawnee Mission West Invite Tuesday.
Braxton Higgins was the lone champion for Emporia High. He won the diving portion of the meet (284.80).
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Rudy Bedolla, Tyler Luthi, Will Walker and Logan Woydziak finished second (1:40.09). The quartet also made up the 400-yard freestyle relay team that took third (4:02.28).
Will Walker finished third in the 200-yard freestyle (2:17.13). Shane Anderson was third in the 100-yard butterfly (1:16.02). Tyler Luthi took third in the 100-yard freestyle (58.37).
The Spartans are off until Jan. 5 when they host a meet.
