Wichita State routed Mississippi Valley State 71-48 Tuesday night.
The Shockers broke a 38-year-old school record finishing plus 20 in turnover margin. Mississippi Valley State turned the ball over 23 times and Wichita State had only 3 turnovers.
Jaron Pierre Jr. scored 15 points – all in the first half – to pace the Shockers.
Jaykwon Walton added 14 points.
Craig Porter Jr. added 13 points.
Wichita State plays Oklahoma State Saturday evening at INTRUST Bank Arena.
