Newman Regional Health Volunteers will be spreading the Christmas cheer next Tuesday.
From 8 am to 1 pm in the serpentine hallway between Buildings C and F volunteers will be selling an assortment of holiday candies and baked treats. There will also be raffles and giveaways for some last-minute Christmas goodies. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be helping students in the medical field with scholarships.
Deborah Storrer volunteer coordinator said while they are staying busy there will be a few other events happening at the hospital as well that day.
With over 80 helpers, volunteers also help out with daily operations from sewing all the way to baking.
