Wichita State defeated Texas Southern 65-56 Thursday night. Jaron Pierre led the Shockers with a game-high 18 points. James Rojas added 14 points and Jaykwon Walton finished with 10 points. The Shockers with the win improve to 7-5. They will open American Athletic Conference play on December 28th at Central Florida.
