Applications are now available for those who would like to recognize staff of USD 253 Emporia who have gone above an beyond in their day-to-day tasks.
Applications for the Hopkins Awards went live on the district’s website two weeks ago and are available to all district staff, students and parents who would like to recognize a staff member. USD 253 Community Relations Director Lyndel Landgren says individuals can be nominated for meeting any of the following criteria.
Applications will be accepted until March 1. Those wishing to nominate an individual can find the application online at USD253.org.
This year’s awards are a return to a more traditional format after the district awarded gift certificates for the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and building awards prior to that.
