The Kansas City Chiefs held on for a 27-24 win over the Denver Broncos Sunday.
Chiefs Coach Andy Reid was pleased to get the win.
Patrick Mahomes became the 3rd quarterback in NFL history to record 2 or more seasons of passing for 5000 yards by throwing for 328 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Mahomes said he did miss some passes.
Jerick McKinnon caught two touchdown passes and Blake Bell caught a touchdown pass. Giving Patrick Mahomes 40 touchdown passes for the season. 2nd time in his career to reach that mark.
Isiah Pacheco started the scoring for the Chiefs with a 5-yard touchdown run.
The Chiefs still have a shot at being the AFCs’ number 1 seed and receive a first-round playoff bye.
Buffalo currently holds that spot they play the Cincinnati Bengals Monday night. The Monday night game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
The Chiefs close out the season at Las Vegas, that game has been flexed to Saturday with kick-off set for 3:30 pm.
