The Emporia High boys swim team finished in third place in its home meet Thursday.
Emporia High finished with 306 points behind Topeka Seaman and Topeka High.
Coach Jamie Dawson says she saw some good swims from her younger swimmers.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Logan Woydziak, Shane Anderson, Will Walker and Tyler Luthi finished in third place.
Logan Woydziak finished third in both the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard breaststroke.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Ian Navarro, Tyler Luthi, Shane Anderson and Will Walker finished fourth.
Shane Anderson was fifth in the 100-yard butterfly and fourth in the 200 IM. Ian Navarro finished fifth in the 500-yard freestyle.
Up next for the Spartan swimmers will be another home meet on Thursday.
The Spartan divers head to Wichita North this evening for an 11-dive meet and will travel to Topeka for a meet on Tuesday.
