The College Football season is officially wrapped up which means some lucky KVOE listeners now have some extra spending money thanks to KVOE and Waters Hardware.
The winners of this year’s KVOE Bowl Challenge convened at Water’s Friday to collect their winnings. For coming in first place, Vicki Brooks took home a $500 Waters gift card.
Brooks says her formula for victory was a combination of a few different strategies.
John Morrison and Carolyn Lackey shared second place, taking home $250 gift cards. Morrison says it was a team effort.
Waters Manager Lucas Hockenberry says he loves being involved in the Bowl Challenge each year.
Participants could drop off their sheets at Waters, Bruffs Sports Bar and Grill, The Liquor Store and The Station. They then received points for guessing the bowl game winners and also listened to KVOE for special bonus buzzwords.
