An attempted murder case in Lyon County District Court now has a potential trial date.
Judge Jeff Larson set April 17 as the possible start of trial proceedings in the case of Matthew Schroeder after a hearing Friday. A status hearing is now on the docket April 12. Defendant motions and responses are due by Feb. 28.
Schroeder is accused of attempted first-degree murder with an alternate count of aggravated domestic battery. He’s also accused of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary and criminal restraint after allegedly trying to kill a woman in mid-October.
