It took over six hours, but traffic on part of Americus Road returned to normal traffic flow shortly before lunch following a wreck early Tuesday.
A box truck went off Road F between Roads 290 and 300 shortly after 5:20 am, blocking both lanes of traffic for a little over 90 minutes. A flagger directed one-lane traffic around the crash site until around 11:30 am.

Traffic is returning to normal after a non-injury crash between Americus and Bushong early Tuesday.
A box truck went off the highway in the 2900 block of Road F and rolled, with the wreck noted shortly before 5:30 am. The truck was carrying a variety of food, which spilled out over both lanes of traffic.
It took about 90 minutes, but Lyon County deputies opened one lane of traffic to drivers around 7 am. A flagger is directing traffic at this time, and this approach may be in place until midday.
