One man has been accused of rape after an alleged incident earlier this month.
Jovani Sotelo is officially charged with two counts of rape and one of aggravated criminal sodomy after an alleged incident Jan. 8. Both rape counts and the sodomy count have alternate charges indicating the alleged victim was incapable of giving consent due to alcohol or drugs.
Sotelo’s first appearance in Lyon County District Court will be at 12:45 pm Jan. 25 before Judge Doug Jones.
