Lyon County’s latest COVID-19 report included over 40 new positive cases and, unfortunately, one death connected to the virus.
Lyon County Public Health reported 43 new cases Wednesday, meaning the weekly report continues within a range of cases established back in late September. Weekly new cases have ranged between 20-70 for every week except the 10 new cases announced in the Nov. 16 report.
One new death was listed, bringing the pandemic total to 134. There have been five COVID-related deaths reported since Jan. 4.
Lyon County is now at 12,085 total cases since the pandemic started in March 2020.
