The annual Flint Hills League Basketball tournament is underway inside of White Auditorium.
Lead organizer Tanner Smith says it is an exciting time for member schools as playing in an arena like White is something not every high school athlete gets to experience.
He says the spectators certainly add to the experience.
KVOE’s coverage of the shootout begins Thursday night at 6 pm with the girl’s championship semi-final games. Osage City will play Chase County and Mission Valley will face Council Grove.
The boy’s championship semi-finals are scheduled for Friday night with Osage City against Chase County and Lyndon taking on Mission Valley. The tournament will conclude Saturday with the third-place and championship games.
Thursday and Friday’s games will be broadcast on Country 101.7 FM with Saturday’s games airing on KVOE 1400 AM and 96.9 FM. You can also watch the games on KVOE-TV at KVOE.com.
