Guitar icon Doug Stone brought his hit country music to the Granada Theatre on Friday.
Stone has been performing since 1989 and produced 10 recorded studio albums, with his self-titled debut in 1990. The lead single of the album, “I’d Be Better Off (In a Pine Box)” nearly immediately broke into the Country Top Five after the release.
Since then, Stone has had an ongoing music career including more than 20 singles and eight number-one hits such as “Fourteen Minutes Old” and “In a Different Light.”
The concert opened with toe-tapping number, “Addicted to a Dollar”
Then later slowed things down a bit with “I Thought it was you.”
The groove doesn’t stop with Doug Stone, however, as the Granada has more concert events planned for 2023. The next in line for the stage is the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
The orchestra is an American swing jazz band originally formed by Glenn Miller in 1938. They are currently set to play on Friday, Feb. 3rd.
