17th-ranked Baylor outscored #9-ranked Kansas 75-69 Monday night, handing the Jayhawks their 3rd loss in a row. It’s only their fourth three-game losing streak in coach Bill Self’s 20 seasons.
The Jayhawks took a 46-45 lead in the 2nd half after trailing by 13 in the first half. Baylor would go on a 12-3 run to take a lead they would not give up.
Kansas Coach Bill Self said they didn’t play badly, Baylor was better.
Grady Dick scored a game-high 24 points to lead KU. Jalen Wilson added 23 points and Kevin McCullar finished with a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.
The Jayhawks are now 16-4 for the season and 5-3 in the Big 12.
They will play at Kentucky Saturday night.
