The Emporia High bowling teams both finished in second place in its home triangular with Andover and Topeka-Seaman Thursday at Flint Hills Lanes.
The Lady Spartans finished with a score of 2,111 and finished behind Topeka-Seaman.
Individually, Brittany Mohling finished fourth with a 561 series. Nikki Morrow was fifth with a 560 series.
The Spartans finished with a score of 2,617, 20 behind team champion Andover.
Khalil Sanchez finished second with a 689 series. Colton Swift was fourth with a 673 series.
Up next for the Spartans and Lady Spartans is the Great Plains Classic at Northrock Lanes in Wichita. The Lady Spartans bowl on Friday, while the Spartans bowl on Saturday.
