Emporia State University begins Black History Month with an appearance from Backpack Jeff on Wednesday evening.
Jeff Young is a motivational speaker, as well as an entrepreneur coach, personal development coach and poet. Young also has a master of social work and is a conflict resolution specialist who teaches emotional awareness, effective communication and problem solving.
Backpack Jeff’s presentation is at 7 pm at the Memorial Union Webb Hall.
