The Emporia High boys swim team finished fourth at the Topeka West Invitational Wednesday.
Logan Woydziak finished third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.53. The time for Woydziak was good enough to earn a consideration time for state. He was fourth in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:32.42.
Ian Navarro finished third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:17.23.
Walker was fourth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:05.98.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Logan Woydziak, Ian Navarro, Tyler Luthi and Will Walker finished fourth with a time of 3:52.19.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Tyler Luthi, Shane Anderson, Ian Navarro and Broden Podrebarac finished fifth with a time of 1:47.21.
Up next for the Emporia High swimmers is at Maize on Saturday. The Spartan divers will go to Maize on Friday.
