It’s love season and the Emporia State University A Capella Choir has prepared a special musical gift for the community this Valetine’s Day.
The Acappella Choir is bringing back Singing Valentines this year and with three different options for residents to show their love to their special someone. ESU Choral Director Joshua Donaldson says a new addition this year is their Valentine’s e-cards that will showcase a virtual choir.
Residents can choose one of three gift options the $5 Singing Valentines e-card that will be sent via email to the recipient, a $20 in-person Signing Valentine that comes with a card and a rose for the recipient, and a $25 in-person Singing Valentine that will come with a card, a rose and chocolate for the recipient. Choir members will perform the Singing Valentines between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 14.
Donalson says this is the largest group he has ever assembled for the Singing Valentines.
