Mobile office hours are coming across the KVOE listening area through Second District Congressman Jake LaTurner.
Mobile office hours are a way for residents to voice concerns or get help with a variety of issues, including veterans benefits, Social Security applications, passports, Internal Revenue Service issues, Medicare and Medicaid assistance, postal service items, Housing and Urban Development matters and all other issues dealing with federal agencies.
Areawide, mobile office hours start with a stop at the Emporia Public Library at 9:30 am Wednesday. Other dates, times and locations:
*Feb. 8, 2:30 pm: Chase County Courthouse, Cottonwood Falls
*Feb. 13, 10:30 am: Council Grove Public Library, Council Grove
*Feb. 13, 3 pm: Alma Public Library, Alma
*Feb. 23, 10 am: Osage City Public Library, Osage City
*Feb. 23, 1 pm: Coffey County Library, Burlington
