The Emporia High girls’ wrestling team will be competing for a trip to state Saturday at the Wichita Southeast Regional.
2 Emporia High wrestlers are ranked in 6-5A. Katina Keosybounheuang is ranked 3rd at 120 pounds. Virginia Munoz is ranked 4th at 135 pounds.
The top four finishers in each weight class will advance to State.

The Boys’ regional tournament will be held on February 17th and 18th at Andover.
The Emporia High boys are ranked 10th in 5A with 3 wrestlers ranked. Xerarch Tungjaroenkul is ranked number 1 at 150 pounds. Christian Trujillo is ranked 4th at 157 and Lukas Hainline is ranked 5th at 138 pounds.
