Wichita State needed two overtimes to defeat SMU 91-89 Sunday.
A trio of Shockers topped the 20-point mark, led by Kenny Pohto’s career-high 28 points.
Craig Porter Jr. added 22, and Jaykwon Walton finished with 20 points.
The Shockers are now 13-12 for the season and 6-7 in the American.
They play at Temple on Thursday.
