The Emporia High basketball teams swept Manhattan Tuesday night at Spartan Gymnasium.
The Lady Spartans defeated Manhattan, 40-34.
Emporia High led 9-8 before Manhattan took a 15-11 lead at halftime.
The Lady Spartans outscored Manhattan 29-19 in the second half.
Rebecca Snyder led Emporia High with 12 points.
The Emporia High girls are now 15-3 on the season and 6-2 in the Centennial League.
The Spartans won their matchup with the Indians, 44-40.
Emporia High never trailed in the game and led by as many as 10. Manhattan cut it to three in the third quarter but not any closer.
Fred Jackson led Emporia High with 11 points. Sheldon Stewart and Parker Leeds each had 10.
The Emporia High boys are now 13-5 on the season and 6-2 in the Centennial League.
Up next for Emporia High is a road trip to Junction City on Friday.
