After winning the annual KVOE Cupid’s Arrow contest earlier this week, Jami Dakin stopped into Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal Thursday to pick up her one-of-a-kind prize.
Dakin received a one-third-carat weight diamond heart necklace set in 14k white gold valued at just under $1,000 from Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal. After seeing the pendant in person Dakin says she was definitely “feeling the love.”
While Dakin did the “heavy lifting” to win the pendant, she was happy to give the credit to someone else.
Kari’s owner Kari Calhoun says seeing Dakin’s reaction is great for her and her staff.
Dakin won the pendant Monday after her “love word” (dear) was announced on KVOE’s Morning Show. After hearing her word, Dakin had two minutes to call in and claim the prize.
It only took close to 20 seconds for her to do so.
