Interviews begin next week as USD 252 Southern Lyon County continues the hiring process for a new superintendent.
Board President Emily Darbyshire says the Board of Education will release information about the candidates Tuesday, shortly before the interview process begins later that day. The application window closed Monday. The district hopes to have a new superintendent named by late February or early March.
The district is looking for a new academic leader with longtime superintendent Mike Argabright recently announcing his retirement, effective June 30. Argabright has led USD 252 the last 16 years.
