A Lyon County aggravated burglary case is set for a hearing Tuesday, but it may be delayed.
There is a motion for continuance in the case against Amanda Renee Alvarado, who has been accused of aggravated burglary, aggravated assault and lesser charges after allegedly entering a shop building in the 1900 block of Road J near Emporia and threatening Troy Amos with a pistol in early October.
Alvarado was set for a preliminary hearing in December, but that date was moved to January due to a schedule conflict and was moved again after Alvarado was involved in an injury crash a few days before the rescheduled hearing.
As of now, the hearing is at 10 am in Lyon County District Court.
Separately, a Lyon County aggravated battery case may see a delay of its own Tuesday.
Cari Lynn Crook is officially accused of aggravated battery after allegedly using a vehicle to threaten Star Guzman on Sept. 3. She’s also accused of driving under the influence.
The current schedule has a hearing at 10 am Tuesday in Lyon County District Court.
