Less than a week remains before a big fundraiser comes to the KVOE airwaves.
Once again, KVOE is partnering with the United Way of the Flint Hills on the United by Community Strength KVOE Live Morning Drive Auction. Drive co-chair Lisa Hayes is excited to see things unfold next week.
United Way CEO Mickey Edwards says the fundraising campaign for over 20 community partners in eight counties is doing well.
The auction takes place Feb. 27-March 3 from 6:30-9 am. Edwards and Community Impact Manager Hannah Crowl will take bids from the Bluestem Farm and Ranch text line at 620-342-5863. There will be a different list of auction items per day.
