Emporia High School still has four Lady Spartans looking to place at the 5A/6A state wrestling tournament.
Katina Keosybounheuang (120 lbs), Ariana Estrada (105 lbs), Kiona Flores Delgado (170 lbs), and Alexa Castillo (235 lbs) were 1-1 on the day. They will wrestle in the second round of the consolation side of the bracket to begin day 2 of the tournament Thursday morning.
Kensley Medrano (125 lbs), Virginia Munoz (135 lbs) and Breanna Wolf (190 lbs) saw their seasons come to an end all going 0-2 on the day.
Day two of the Girls 5A/6A tournament will begin at 9 am Thursday at Hartman Arena in Park City.
All Emporia High matches will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM and 96.9FM.
