A spring-like morning will lead to a decidedly wintry feel areawide by sunset.
Up to a quarter of an inch of rainfall is expected with showers and isolated embedded thunderstorms through mid- to late morning. A powerful cold front will shove later-morning temperatures in the 60s down to the low- to mid-40s by late afternoon and under 20 degrees overnight. Wind speeds will be as high as 30-40 mph from afternoon through Thursday, meaning wind chills near zero Wednesday night and in the 20s Thursday as high temperatures struggle to the low 30s.
The weekend will see warming temperatures, with a high of 50 Saturday followed by temperatures in the 60s Sunday, along with a chance of showers and storms.
