The MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships began Friday.
In the Pentathlon, Emporia States Abigale Reid finished in 7th place with a personal best score and provisionally qualified for nationals.
Victoria Pettay finished in 13th place.
After day one of the Heptathlon Emporia States Brandon Wilkes is in 5th place and Aren Trost is in 8th place.
The field events and track events begin Saturday.
