Part of the longstanding Holiday Resort campus in northwest Emporia has new ownership. It also has a new name.
Emporia developer Cory Haag has purchased The Cottages at Holiday Estates portion of Holiday Resort involving the clubhouse and 48 patio homes. Terms will not be announced.
Haag says he has inquiring “for years” about the potential availability of Holiday Estates, which will now be known as Lakeview Patio Homes. Haag says he plans to operate Lakeview in a similar fashion to the longstanding management procedures under Holiday Resort’s Mike Kerbs, meaning the homes will remain as senior living.
Currently, all 48 homes are full and there is a waiting list in effect.
