A traffic stop in southern Osage County allegedly led to the discovery of fentanyl and morphine Sunday evening.
Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells says there was a traffic stop on Interstate 35 at the Melvern exit shortly before 7:45 pm. A deputy reported finding narcotics, so the driver, 53-year-old Roberta Taylor of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of possessing both fentanyl and morphine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Further details on the traffic stop have not been divulged. Formal charges are pending.
