The St. Patrick’s Committee’s annual auction has returned for another year of bidding but this year will look quite different from the rest.
Rather than a live auction at Bruff’s Sports Bar and Grill, the event will be hosted entirely online, giving participants a full two-week period to place their bids. Committee member Barb Lowry says that this change is brought about by the popularity of online events, along with in-person complications.
Buyable items will be posted beginning Wednesday, and stay up until March 14th and there are certainly many things to be bought.
Additionally, the Committee is set to host their annual parade on Mar. 18th in downtown Emporia, and is still seeking parade entries for this event. For information on how to enter the parade, contact the St. Patrick’s Day Committee at 620-343-0745 or visit their Facebook page.
