Potential trial dates could be set in April as part of a contraband case in the early stages in Lyon County District Court.
Brian Lynn Smith was set for a pretrial and arraignment hearing at 2 pm April 7 after waiving his preliminary hearing Monday.
Smith is accused of trying to bring marijuana into the Lyon County Jail in mid-January. He’s accused of both possessing marijuana and trafficking contraband.
