Wednesday is setting up to be a busy day for notable cases in Lyon County District Court.
The final pretrial hearing in the drug distribution case against Austin Levi Buckridge is on the docket. Buckridge is accused of distributing up to 100 grams of cocaine and up to 450 grams of marijuana as part of an alleged incident this past July. Trial could begin as soon as March 6, although it might not start until March 20 or March 27.
A status hearing is set in the child sex abuse case against Harvey Kent Grandstaff, who is accused of two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct and one for aggravated indecent liberties for incidents allegedly last year and dating back to 2010. Trial could begin Monday, March 20 or March 27.
A preliminary hearing is coming in the drug distribution case against Paul Kienast. He’s charged with distributing up to 100 grams of methamphetamine and possessing paraphernalia as part of an alleged incident in early February.
All hearings are tentatively set for 3:30 pm in Lyon County District Court.
