The Emporia High girls’ bowling team finished eighth in the Class 5-1A state bowling championships Thursday. The Lady Spartans finished with a series of 2,711.
Brittany Mohling was the top individual for Emporia High. She finished 23rd with a series of 543.
Great Bend won the state championship with Salina South being the runner-up.
The Emporia High boys finished in 10th place with a 3069 series. Colton Swift was the top individual for Emporia High, he finished in 11th place with a 670 series.
Kansas City Piper is the 5-1A State Champion.
